slide scanning

Category:General
Recently we have been getting customer slides that are starting to deteriorate.  The slides that are in tins have no breathing room and seem to be getting moisture on them.  This could be condensation from moving them from one storage area to another.  They will still digitize fine but any marks on them will show up.  It is best not to use any type of brush to clean your slides because the brush marks will show up on those damp slides.  We clean your slides and color correct them before and during the digitizing process.  Many slides that were purchased in Europe of tourist places seem to have turned orange long before our standard slides have.  Our color correct can help fix this but they really are fading.  If you do have slides, it is recommended that you begin to digitize them.  We can help, just give us a call 503 253-7027.
